In the article "Woman Hit by Car in Gas Station Identified" by Howard Pankratz (Denver Post), this woman influenced me in a way because this shows me how dangerous cars can be if you are not paying attention. This woman or Sandra Fredin was walking back to her car when she was decked by a Dodge Magnum. This relates to me because I sometimes go to gas stations and I have also seen some careless drivers. In away this relates to education because it shows that you have to be thinking at all times and you must bepaying attention to your surroundings at all times. This article was kind of like "To Build A Fire" because the man was not thinking or paying attention to his surroundings, just like the woman and the driver. This relates to the world as well because this acident could happen to anyone, anywhere at any time and we must act smart if we want to stay safe and alive. Finnally I leave you the question, Are you going to coast through life not looking at your surroundings, or are you going to learn and figure out your surroundings?
